Well...nothing good that's for sure.

I don't know why someone would train a horse with this amount of
contact....One gal I know who is retraining her new Icelandic found it
absolutely incrediblel that a horse trainer would train a horse to
consider 25 lbs of pressure on the reins acceptable.  She found it
exhausting and now after 2 years finally has the horse accepting
normal contact however if she does take up the reins he will sometimes
revert to old ways and go hollow.  So she's still working on that.

This type of riding is not what we want, nor should we pay trainers
that train in this manner...ever.
