i went. it was awesome. my friend who came to audit got pictures but i
don't have copies yet; will post when i do.

i was surprised by two things about the riders: they were half men, and
mostly not very experienced or even in control of their horses at the
start. the clinic seemed to help those pairs a lot with communication
between rider and horse.

nobody did any official saddle-fitting, though lucile and roo grubis
spent a while with one woman whose treeless saddle seemed not very
stable, eventually trying roo's stubben instead. (that rider also had
her own stubben; i'm not sure what she settled on.) i came to my own
unfortunate conclusions about my hrimnir on my own, though when i talked
about it both lucile and roo concurred :/

i could talk more about what we *did*, but it was really mostly standard
centered-riding stuff, plus a lovely trail ride. the emphasis was just
"these are horses, and the same rider-principles apply at any gait".
the only icey-specific things i recall were that we all wanted turnout
and were all comfortable turning our horses out with groups of strangers
(supervised and in one horse's case changed, after which he was fine)
and that the horses went nose-to-tail on the trail.
