can't do too much trimming/filing not a whole lot of hoof wall there! nice shape from the bottom though... I'm no expert really so I don't mean to sound like I am... just know my own horses feet really well, LOL! Frog/balls look a bit dry ... Slow growing feet huh? I can't get by without a trim every 5 weeks. Maybe a hoof supplement would build some hoof wall and sole... seems a little low in the pic and might be why the hoof wall is so thin in that too much pressure is happening on that edge?. ..but I never have used those so don't know anything about if they really work. Are you in dry hard soil? (watch you'll say no!, LOL) or super sandy soil? If so, maybe some water puddles (mud puddles in front of the watering troughs) might help some... And if this horse is doing fine, then why try to fix what ain't broke as they say???? my 2 cents... I really hate saying stuff cuz someone will come back and say well, what about this. and really you do need to see top, side and bottom.
