It's hard to get these answers from animals and the homeopathic books I've seen for animals usually list a short set of symptoms or behaviors. (i.e., prefers to lie on a cool/hot surface, wants to be cuddled/wants to be left alone, lesions dry/oozy like honey, etc.). I don't have an extensive list of animal homeopathy books but the few that I do have recommend doses in this way.
