That's so funny. I can just see it now, the group of them making their get-away, manes flying in their faces. They'd all be looking furtively over their soulders, scanning for pursuers. Whatr kind of crime do you think a group of mounted men might be able to pull off, Janice. Train robbery comes to mind, but I think the engineer might laugh.
