I'm dealing with this right now... I was mowing the field...a tick was crawling on my earlobe... I pulled it off... now my earlobe is 2 times as big as normal size! It's throbbing. I thought maybe the head was still in there getting infected so i went in with a needdle and looked around (well a friend did with a magnifying glass) found a tiny peice but nothing else to make it swell so much...it was a big tick by the way not those little tiny ones. Anyway...I've soaked it in salt water, put antibiotic on it...it feels a bit better but still swollen :( I'm hoping the poison or whatever it is will come out soon.
