i have also noticed in life--- sometimes a person will seem just
inexplicably grouchy, then it turns out they were ill and maybe didnt
even know it themselves. I see that in horses sometimes too! I know
my Jaspar so well, inside and out. And he shows things almost
invisibly. But when he seems shut down, wont look at me, avoids me,
strides away with a tail swish. Most people would think "wow what a
grouch" or "he doesnt like me anymore" but actually he is trying to
get me off alone. he knows I will look at him and follow. He will
tail swish and stalk away about ten feet and wait for me there.
Sometimes he wants attwention or something I dont even know. But
sometimes he even shows me stuff like "look you idiot,.the water
trough is empty cause one of the goofballs busted it..."
