If you are feeling stretched through the hips try raising your stirrups a
hole or two as it will release you hip flexors.

If the girth is one of the Sensation girths - the elastic in the middle
gives the horse more room to breath and gives equal stretch on both sides.
The self centering part of the girth means you don't have to have the
buckles on the same billet strap and will still have equal pressure on the
girth.

I would suggest that you do a session where you ride in the Sensation, then
switch to your regular saddle and then switch back.  Doing this in the same
session might give you a better sense if there is a difference in your
horse.  More so, I have found, than riding one day in one saddle and the
next is the other.

The bottom line is, as has been said many times on this list, is there is no
one 'right' answer for anyone - whether it be saddles, or training
methods...
