That is very true. My thoughts about the metal snaps giving a disconnected feeling only comes from 'being the horse' wearing a bridle with reins with snaps and without. There is a different kind of movement, BUT, I didn't try with a variety of snaps and I think that a small scissor snap would be quite different that the kinds I tried.
