Well there are So many varibles with founder, that we would have to
know more...Sally does an intake with a foundered horses that can
last up to 2 hours with getting bits of information, and finding out
what the owner is able and willing to do. I could not come up with
an answer that I know would help, and not hurt your horse based on so
little.
So many varibles...

~Are you wanting to use barefoot methods, or use shoes?
There are many different shoeing methods out there that really
can help a foundered horse, and none of them that I am thinking
envolve using metal shoes that nail on. MANY that work.
Barefoot can work as well, depends on a lot of factors, and the
owners availible time and energy.
THis is just a quick example of things we ask when taking on a
foundered horse.
Usually, with good care a horse can get better after time....and
depending on their health and the terrain they live on they could be
barefoot again......
