I am so sorry to read such bad news. I can't imagine that the hospital wouldn't take payments or even a credit card, allowing Raven some time to gather resources.
One of our adult daughters pays for her son's horse activities by making wonderful wedding cakes. She gets very anxious when she hears stories like Raven & Huggins. They could not afford a $10,000 vet bill. Human hospitals routinely write off large amounts of medical expenses for patients who are not affluent. Do veterinary hospitals ever do that? It seems like it would be wirth asking. Please let us know if and when there's a fund raiser. Nancy
