I would think about the cotton sheet, especially to prevent sunburn issues. And, if he is shivering, he is too cold. I know the vet is trying to keep his temp down but you don't want him to waste his energy by shivering. So maybe cotton would be a nice compromise? I know Cathy at American-Flex sells her old cotton sheets very cheaply and I'll bet if you told her what has been happening she would be happy to donate to Huggin!
