Another good question.

Sometimes there are horses with problems and maybe we don't know why or how 
they came to have problems.

If it's genetic, probably not a good idea to use them for breeding.

I agree that all horses for sale should have sales prices and that is 
required on the Icelandic Horses for Sale Board.

Sometimes, with some of the horses that come through the IceHorse Rescue, 
the owners want a certain amount of anonymity.  I try to pre-screen 
potential homes, according to the current owners' requests and input, as 
well as suitability for the horse, before putting the inquiring party and 
the current owner in touch.
