One of the lay dentists that our dental vet, Britt, uses for incisor and other special work, uses a kind of low stool and it just rolls around. Britt just gets on her knees like your but because it is in our shoeing area we use a extra neoprene pad for her to kneel on (we have rubber matting over concrete) - the ground is probably softer. Our vet uses very light sedation with most of them, they stand quietly for the dental work and when finished we put them outside the shoeing area and within minutes most of them start nibbling on grass.
