some lessons from this trainer?<<

Oh yes! The training comes with as many lessons as I
want. I took a clinic with him this summer, and I
REALLY liked him. His philosophy matches mine. Plus,
he did a colt starting demo the second morning, and I
was so impressed with him, that's when the idea came
to mind. But then, I was still adamant about starting
Andi myself - untill I came off my 3rd ride - and that
was when Andi was being led. I then realized that I
can not control my "tension" especially where my butt
makes contact with the saddle. So, I decided to let
this man put the first 30 days of riding on Andi
because he will be relaxed and I will not. I know 30
days is not much, but I have already done most of the
preliminary work - he will fill in my gaps of course
- then I will take over the training. I am basically
sending him to get used to carrying a rider's weight.
I don't have a problem with the training, but I want a
relaxed "start" under saddle.
