That's the thing - I work 2 jobs and I can not work
consistantly. That and having a knowledgable helper!

I have learned sooooo much from my lists and I am very
grateful for that. What I have not been able to learn
from the lists, tho, is how not to get tense. That is
my normal, human reaction to when I get "scared" and
that is what is not fair. If I were younger and not
afraid of getting hurt, it might be different. As it
is, I am the major bread winner and can not afford to
be out of work. If Andi gets scared with me on his
back, I will bail and not "ride him out relaxed"
untill he gets relaxed and realizes there is nothing
to be scared of. Once he understands something, he is
a piece of cake, but his initial reaction is to run
and I can not stay with him thru his initial reaction.
He doesn't need a scared rider to start his riding
otherwise he will always be wary of a rider because he
will be wondering what there is to be scared of.

Yes, I know, and I was worried for being "flamed" for
only sending him for 30 days. I don't expect a
"trained" horse after that time. I plan on doing the
training myself. The 30 days is just to get him
started with a relaxed rider.
