well, i wasn't there for stjarni's youth, but i presume it was traditional and he stayed primarily with his herd. that said, he certainly seems to think, at twelve, that people are fun. if i bring him up to the riding ring and then set up stuff (cones, jumps, whatever) before i start grooming, he spends about 90% of his time following me around to see what i'm up to, and only about 10% investigating leaves and grassy spots and other edibles or the equipment i'm not playing with. --vicka
