Thank you for such a great response. I guess I have seen the game on
the videos, I guess I am more into actual body language that a horse
understands already. I use my body language in round pen work,,,I
use it when leading, with every interaction I have with my horses, as
that is their language, so I try to communicate with them with how
they know how to commicate. And yes, everything can be abused, I
have just seen this particular game used to put fear into horses
under the name of NH. And I disagree that using a lead rope in that
fashion has anything to do with anything natural to the horse and how
they communicate with each other. Of course I am just a very small
time breeder, lover of Icelandic horses, who trails rides and does
some demos.....Certainly not a trainer like Parelli himself, however
I can still disagree with the whole premise of the game....
if I want my horse to back up I use my body to ask.....I have often
thought that mechanical ears that would mimic horse ears would really
help us communicate with horses.....they use their ears so much, we
are really at a disadvantage if we want to tie into their Natural
instinct without them.
