when I lived in sacramento I missed everything water related.  From
growing up on the gulf of mexico I could not even believe what people
called "seafood" out there.  for one thing the shrimp was what we call
"bait shrimp" for fishing and the "fish" was something if I bought
here I would throw away as rotten, a strong fishy smell and mushy
texture meat.  Frozen stuff from alaska etc.  I couldnt even hardly
take the crab, alaskan king crab tastes like garbage if you've ever
eaten a sweet succlent blue crab right out of the bayou....  But i did
love the striped bass fresh caught, reminded me of our mullet.
