Is that a joke? : )) When your heels are jammed down it affected the shock absorbing ability of your ankle, knees and hips. It also causes tension in the rider, and therefore the horse's back. It is sad that so many of us were taught, and taught, riding with a really dropped heel. If you foot sits level or just below level it is much better for your body.
