She jumped the fence and crushed his skull and he was too heavy to take back over the fence. Buster was a Pekinese cross weighed about 18 lbs. Very sad day for my friend. They don't seem to bother larger dogs here. If I had this problem I would own a large dog like an Anatolia? Shepherd. Don't know how to spell it but they guard against anything like that. Living next to open land it would be a good idea. They protect all live stock with their lives. Sylvia
