Sylvia, I know this is a personal question, but the answer would be helpful to me.
How do you mount and dismount? Stephanie (our 14 year old) has athetoid cerebral palsy. That's the type where the body makes some out-of-her-control movements and the muscles have a generally lower tone. She can stand with support and is very independent in her self care - toileting, showering, transfers into and out of her power chair, but there's no way she'll be able to stand on one foot to mount. She's also just heavy enough (about 100) lbs, that she's going to be tough to pick up and place on her pony. Tosca's ready - I just need to figure this out. Of course some big buff guy could solve the problem in a heartbeat. Big lift for us, though. Nancy
