Is there shelter out there for them? It would probably be enough space because you'll be riding them and giving them extra exercise. We had two underground water hydrants trenched to both our horse areas. We have huge water troughs with a submerged heaters in each of them. Sometimes we have to chop the ice out and remove it, and sometimes a natural vent hole forms which is large enough for the horses to drink through. Oh...I get chills just thinking about that. Wanda
