Virginia, There are a number of lower cost barn kits available. when we bought our place 15 years ago it had a pretty new barn on it that came from a kit. We love it. It is 48 feet long with 4 stalls on one side, a wide breezeway, and a good sized tack feed room on one end of the other and a hay storage room on the other. On that same side between is a wash area that we use to store the tractor and its attachments and various other things. We even stored a friends car one winter when he went to Mexico. The siding slides in and out so you can have it very airy or all enclosed. It has a long sloping roof on one side so there is always shade
