Pam, I think you will need a wide platform or tall step stool with a wide platform, you'll have to measure your horse, then get the same space between the saddle and the top of the platform that you are use to on your icy's, then, measure to the ground...
For example, if you need 3 feet for the Icy's, you will need to measure 3 feet down from the top of your saddle, while it is on your tall horse, and then measure from that point, down to the ground, have someone make you a platform or hunt for one that gives you that clearance... I suspect you will not find one that will be tall enough for you and your needs to be portable though... They have those large 3 step platforms that people use for getting the kids on that have Disabilities, So, I know they are out there, just not sure if they make that type of platform in a portable form... maybe have one for at home, and let others ride him off the property... Is this horse use to people mounting him from a platform??? None of mine have been, I have had to teach them what I want... Jewel knows exactly where he needs to be for me, however, when I switched saddles this year, that spot changed... so now, he is always a little bit off, when I go to mount, I think that is so funny....
