could i ask how it happened Christine?  In the interest of prevention.

I was working with a young horse, I think he is 6 and not yet started. (No
worries he is not on the sales list and probably never will be)
He has always been a little more unsure of himself and makes a lot of
contact with the other horses and objects. He bumps them when he plays and
when I was leading him through obstacles he knocked a fairly heavy jump
standard over. He does not have very good special awareness and when I led
him back to the pasture, after we had had a very nice groundwork session he
was behind me (I know never lead a horse behind you ) and he startled at
something behind him and jumped forward, knocking me over. So preventable
yes, if he had been beside me, or rather if I had been beside him.

Thanks for all the good wishes, I started physio yesterday and am now
allowed to do more.
