Ah Raven absolutely wonderful photos. We made 14 trips in 14 months to a
very rural (no electricity) area of Northern Baja during Brenda's adoption.
The country and people are wonderful. Many of the men were wonderful
horsemen. They also played a mean game of baseball. The orphanage where
Brenda lived was up on a hill overlooking a big farming valley. We were
there once when there had been a long period with torrential rains. There
was a truck stuck in a deep mud bog and the men worked all morning with
trucks and tractors and that truck just stayed mired in mud. Finally,
someone came along with a horse and pulled the truck out.

We took Brenda back twice for visits, but after we adopted the other
children, it became too much of a challenge to travel that far.
