But on THIS list...? I really suspect this list knows - I have full confidence that we are a list of aware and caring animal lovers. I'm pretty sure that my Frank was a puppy mill puppy - he was a throw-away at 10 weeks. I've talked about how all of my current dogs - Simon, Connie, Betty Sue and Frank were all either rescues or throwaways, and all are wonderful dogs. I think the part that gets old - at least to me - is that a few people (one person in particular) are so darned quick to lecture the rest of us on the list. Man, if Wanda wants - no NEEDS - a funky faux fur lined hat to make it through her winters on the frigid tundra, by golly, all I can say is more power to her.
