iam the same sylvia, but my sensation hybrid is very secure feeling, doesnt slip, and the other treeless saddles either hurt my hips or knees, or the stirrups hung in such a way that I was perched forward perpectually in the "launch" position. The sensation has adjustable stirrup hangers so i can sit secure and naturally, also it is very very plush and comfy. I am very big, fit a 16 in western saddle snugly, but the sensation is ok even tho it is snug, it gives. I have tried every treeless saddle there is almost! Some are horrible. Bob Marshall for instance, everyones favorite if they ride treeless and western, my gosh what an awful saddle. I dont care HOW tight you get it it will still slip when you mount, also the stirrups hang so you feel like you are sitting in a deep hole with your feet behind your knees, just kills your hips. I know a person who has been riding one for years and has such horrible hip probs she is looking at surgery. I keep telling her the BMSS hurt my hips and i dont even have hip probs and she wont listen! That is not a good saddle, i dont care what anybody says. All the other treeless that seem good for the horse etc, if they dont have this adjustable stirrup position then people built certain ways like me, they are gonna have to sit perched forward. There is no way to feel relaxed and secure in that position. Some of them tho, like the treeker, will work with the sensation stirrup hanger which you can order from Kaaren Jordan for not much at all, like maybe 25 bucks. Janice-- yipie tie yie yo
