i think my new years resolution as far as these lists go... I think I
am going to try my very best, and make it my goal, to always try and
post things that are good for the horse and other people. First and
foremost. and if it means I have to disagree I hope to do it in an
agreeable manner and if thats not possible to just let it drop, to
"disengage" as my daughter says :) but hopefully that won't be the
case very often (it shouldnt be). I know its often debatable as to
what is best for the horse and other people, and we all have our
opinions, which is actually what is so great about these lists, that
we can take what we need and leave the rest from posts.

Anyway. I thank you all, even the worst of you, for teaching me so
many many valuable things, good and bad, about myself and my horses.
Many times you have saved me and my horses in more ways than you know.

And I especially thank the ones on here who make me smile, make me
feel warm and appreciated, bring me light on a dark dismal day, send
me out to try yet again to work out a problem with an obstinate bratty
horse who, it turns out, just couldnt figure how what I was trying to
convey.... which if you think about it is a good life lesson with
people too.

I am gonna cook a pot of black eyed peas with a dime cooked in it for
luck and prosperity in the new year, and I wish you all the same!
