I never said being outdoors didn't equate to a nice life....where did THAT come from? I said the general population is simply ill-equipped to have pets, let alone expose them to the outside world...think about it. Wouldn't you say that perhaps all of us on this list feel a little differently about and treat/take care of our animals with more compassion, concern, understanding than most? All I was saying is think about the segment on TV that was mentioned. Now think about all the &^%$&*)(*)(*& that probably went to a PET STORE to buy a fluff ball for Christmas....honestly tell me what percentage of those will still have a living pet in a year? Maybe it's my part of the country...but I see LOTS and LOTS of stupidity here. Mary, LVT
