If you bank on what you see re: gaits that early, then someone could sell you a three-gaited QH as a gaited horse - cheap or expensive! You'd better have a more dependable plan than that in place! ALL newborns have short backs and a tendency to move laterally! You may not see it in EVERY young foal, but it's certainly not uncommon. Karen Thomas, NC
