>>> 'though, if most of the "Betty's" are adult women *with a desire to >>> "save" an animal*,
Is that what drives the majority of the 1-2 million "Betty's" in the USA? I sure don't think it is. Too many horses get bought and quickly dumped back onto dreamhorse or sold locally for me to believe that's a driving force in purchase decisions. I feel a little lonely in my very weak attempts to find homes for a few rescues/rehabs. >>>>I mean, do they have a glut of Iceys in their market that is forcing the >>>>under-pricing of high quality Iceys ??? Or, are they able to produce a >>>>mediocre product and still get top dollar ? ARE they getting top dollar? For how many horses - how many are being imported to the USA per year? Not many I think! Otherwise, I'd think we'd see a LOT more than 2000-3000 Iceys in the USA by now. Karen Thomas, NC
