This is a bankruptcy sale and we're a bit concerned about the equines and farm animals given the time of year and high price of hay, shavings and feed. Please forward to your lists. Horses & Mules Include: 4 registered Friesian horses – all solid black. (This is a beautiful group bred for driving & dressage.) - 9 yr. old stallion – trained for driving and dressage – imported from Holland – one of the top 5% of all Friesians in Holland when purchased. - 7 yr. old mare – imported from Holland with July '07 colt at her side. Will be weaned and sold separate. - Year and a half old stallion colt – halter broke. 2 Percheron draft horse geldings – both gray - driving team – Mike & Kyle – always been together. 3 saddle horses: - 7 yr. old black & white paint gelding – loud colored - coal black, 3 white stockings, white face - trained for Western pleasure & games. - Chestnut Quarter Horse gelding – 6 yrs. old - ridden Western - lesson horse. Real sharp looking horse. - Palomino Quarter Horse gelding - 15 – trained in both English & Western – used for lessons. 11 mules – well trained for riding – some came from Grand Canyon mule trains. 3 mini horses: mare, filly & colt. 2 mini donkeys. 1 mammoth Jenny donkey. Sheep include: 2 Hampshire ewes, 2 Corriedale ewes, 2 Shetland sheep – mother & daughter, 3 Baby Doll sheep. Goats include: 11 Nigerian goats (one mother with 2 newborns & 5 baby Nigerian goats), 4 Pygmy goats (includes a mother & daughter.) Hogs: 3 sows & a boar (market weight). 2 very small Jersey steers – very friendly – used in a school program. 7 Polish laying hens & a rooster. 14 young pheasants. 3 rabbits. Sale's manager's note: We will be selling tack (new saddles & bridles, etc) from 10 AM to 12 noon.
