I saw several in the shops at the WC which had metal tabs. I've used the ones with the rubber tab (well, not so much a tab, more a sort of V shaped "tongue", short) - they were fine, fitted nicely, lots of protection and didn't move, but I really don't like the idea of a metal tab on the frog.
