Hi;
Yes, there are leash laws in most places in California. I don't know where
he is running his dogs that he gets away with that!
Also it is a good idea to take the whole "alpha dog" mentality and look at
it carefully. Merely deciding to be "alpha" and trying to do what Cesar
does can get people in a lot of trouble with their dogs. Remember that a
couple of people (at least two) have been bitten on his show. I'd question
any training that allowed that to happen. I wish that TV showed some
trainers that used more up-to-date training methods that applied current
learning theory to dog training - but that is not very exciting and doesn't
make good TV.
