stjarni LOVES the snow -- unpacked, untracked snow is his favorite thing
ever; he plays and drives his paddockmates nuts with trying to get them
to play too. and he HATES it when i don't ride -- he has a certain
tolerance for groundwork and he enjoys bodywork, but if i haven't ridden
in a week or so he gets downright cranky with me. me, snow, and the
trail is just about the recipe for the happiest stjarni in the world.

so my suggestion is to let your horses be your guide. see how *they*
feel about snow -- does it make them want to go out and play, or stay in
their shelter? -- and see if you can follow along with their lead....

good luck!

including about a foot yesterday, and expects to ride rsn :)
