I've always heard it phrased that a big barrel "takes up the rider's leg." Cary looked better when riding Mac than when he rode Joe. Joe is 16.1H, whereas Mac was "only" 15.3H, but Mac was a much bigger-bodied horse. Karen Thomas, NC
