Any of you guys heard anything about this? I am curious why they think that much action will be useful to an endurance horse.
Yes. It's been cussed and discussed on the Gaited Enduance list. I haven't paid much attention, but if I remember the organizers have limited (perhaps no?) endurance experience. As you know, Penny, most endurance riders are looking for an economy of action because these horses have quite a lot of ground to cover and those who fare best are the ones who do not expend any more energy than they have to. I have only been riding Limited Distance for five seasons, but the folks I condition with have years and years of experience and many miles. There are lots of things that go into the make up of a successful endurance horse. I almost think I'd start my list with temperment. Nancy
