oh! the reason she was famous, I was writing a little column for a local paper at the time and I wrote about a true experience where I took lola and my nephew to mcdonalds and at the drive up box, the girl says welcome to mcdonalds, may I help you and before I could say anything lola hollered at the top of her lungs, just deafening as only a parrot can do "NO!!" and the girl said "excuse me? Do you want to drive around?" and Lola hollered "NOOO!!!! and then cursed her, saying kiss my ___ and a name that starts with b and sounds like witch, and my nephew and I were laughing so hard I couldnt talk and the girl went on having about a five minute ugly conversation with Lola, and when I could finally talk, i said its a parrot, the girl said, exasperated, "just drive around" and when I got there Lola had dropped down and crawled under the seat, so there was no parrot. I was afraid they spit in my food.
