I had a standard poodle.He didn't aggravate my son's asthma. You will 
be in for a lot of grooming. The coat needs a lot of attention eg every 
8 weeks for clipping and scissoring. Looks good though! He used to take 
4 hours at the hairdressers. He had the kind of coat that was just 
asking to be stroked. His temperament was so good that when he got an 
infection around the heart the vet could drain it without general 
anaesthetic. As far as allergies are concerned dogs do carry pollen etc 
in their coats too so we taught ours to shake outside.
