The house is wonderful Virginia and you'll be glad you had all the painting done before you moved. Our friends who introduced us to Icelandics are just finishing up the construction of their owner built new home, with baseboards, cabinet doors, barn and fencing still to go - and they're moving in this Saturday.
Our house was built as a one-room cabin in 1927 and remodeled and remudled a gazillion times over the past 80 years. I envy you both your beautiful homes but not all the painting and finish work. Nancy
