Yes. The horses can lie down, eat, drink, poop and even roll, although that scares me. Hunter has figured our just how far he can walk around and will stretch that bungee goody to the max. I'm considering switching to a non-stretchy attachment but I would have to pre-teach since he's used to being able to stretch his tether. Yes, we always practice tying at home before going camping, beginning with short stretches and then lengthening the time. And your horse would have to be safe to tie. Period. I had an appaloosa mare once that never really did stand tied safely - for 22 years. She would not have been safe on the Hi-tie. Nancy
