since Fla is racehorse country, we see OT thoroughbreds all the time,
rehabs, freebies etc.  They very often have these things, i wonder
what the real name for them is, people call them "windpuffs" they are
little blowouts in the tendons i believe.  Sometimes in the knees.
Some ot thoroughbreds , like greyhound dogs, make the best pets,
because like greyhounds, they were rejects because they wer too laid
back, which makes them great trail horses.  but these  windpuffs are
round numps, some the size of a pencil eraser, but some as big as a
ping pong ball, don't seem to cause lameness, but i wonder if they do
later in life...  most ot thoroughbreds are very young, 3-6 mostly I
have seen...
