Congratulations on your move! I can understand why
you'd be so excited!
When I first got Nanna last summer, I took her out
walking regularly for two months before I started
riding her out. The main reason was because I didn't
have a saddle, but, in retrospect, I'm glad I had to
do it that way. Better to have her spook at new stuff
when I'm not on her than to be on her! (he-he)
I still take her and my other horse for walks once in
a while when I don't really feel like riding, but, I
want to spend time with them and give them a little exercise.
