You can get small cheap versions in Wal-Mart in the sporting goods department - they call them soccer cones or something. I think you can get a pack of 10 or 12 for under $10. Real traffic cones are upwards of $70 and the fine for stealing them off the road is higher,(I think). But if you see one at work, and absolutely no one is looking, it might be safe to throw in the back seat.
