Tivar has ears back most of the time. At first you think he is just
constantly aggravated but then you realize he is being very expressive
and that it can be an expression of concern, a tense moment, worry,
fretting, listening, warning imaginary foes, disdain for rider
fumbling, exasperation due to rider idiocy, irritation, aggravation...
I have come to realize it isnt that he has these feelings and other
horses dont. I believe all horses have these feelings, he just shows
them with his ears. Jaspar expresses things similarly but so subtle
you can barely detect the ear flick. By the time his ears go back
someone is gonna get nailed. Teev's ears are back 90 % of the time
and nobody ever gets nailed. When he nails another horse its when his
ears go back and he lets out a little squeal.
