Galopp is how she is describing the gait (gallop), or canter.

It may look like a stepping pace because of the two-foot lateral support, 
but it is a canter.

Almost every gait will have the same support sequences, so you have to 
consider other things in determining what gait it is.  You look for other 
clues.
