Um what is ESI? > That being said, it's good to read all of the different articles and > opinion, and establish a basis of information for your own use in > determining what's good and what's not good in your own mind and your own > situation. That's going to take some time. I just spoke to Carol Brett of balance saddles. She may be able to come next week. I got more out of her in 5 mins on the phone than out of my saddle fitter. She explained the biomechanics of Corrie's bent spine and asymetric trapezius. Being blind in one eye has a lot to do with it and there are exercises I can do with her to help her. The balance saddle is very adjustable and may suit both ponies. I'm not counting on that though. I just want the best for Corrie at the moment. She spent a long time just standing at the gate all on her own in her previous home. We used to see her as we went by. She isn't getting exercised much at the moment. I want to get her fit in the arena before I go out on the road with her. The footing in the paddock is terrible. I take note of the comment about horses losing muscle standing still. I can't get that arena done soon enough. Has anyonegot balance saddles? Sue UK
