There's another Wanda pearl. : ) I think it all comes down to attitude towards the horse. Do we think of the horse as a sentient, feeling, THINKING being we want to connect with on a level of mutual understanding and respect and devotion? Or, do we think of the horse as servant, working for room and board, made to do our bidding because we are, afterall, the *superior* being in the equation and we take care of them.
